IPT Energy has received the "Highly Commended distinction for Energy Company of the Year" at the Gulf Business Awards 2026, marking a significant recognition of the company’s growth, capabilities and expanding presence in the UAE energy sector.

Presented on September 23 in Dubai, the Gulf Business Awards 2026 brought together senior business leaders, entrepreneurs and decision-makers from across the Gulf, celebrating achievement across key sectors shaping the region’s economy. IPT Energy was recognized in the Energy Company of the Year category, earning the Highly Commended distinction.

IPT Energy was recognised alongside GE Vernova, Masdar, Global South Utilities and GoSolr, which were shortlisted in the Energy Company of the Year category. GE Vernova was named the category winner, while IPT Energy received the Highly Commended distinction.

The ceremony took place at The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai, JBR, and formed part of the 2026 Gulf Business Awards, which recognised achievement across 30 categories and nine industries. The event also marked Gulf Business’ 30th anniversary, celebrating three decades of covering the companies, leaders and economic developments shaping the Gulf’s business landscape.
