In the framework of its energy and environment management strategy, IPT is proud to announce that IPT Halat station is now solar-powered aiming to enhance its energy performance and to reduce the environmental impact of its operations.
The Solar power system uses 80 solar panels installed on the gas station's canopy, producing 20 KWh peak of power transferred directly to the Electrical Grid through inverters. The system has an actual production of 30 MWh/year which will translate into annual savings of around $5,000 and greenhouse gases saving of 20 Tons.
IPT is constantly striving to embed this strategy in its operations for an increased energy efficiency and sustainability.
