With the participation of the Ministry of environment (MOE), UNDP, and IPT Energy Center (IPTEC), the AUB Student Representative Council has organized a seminar on "Air Pollution from Land Transportation in Lebanon: Status & Proposed Solutions" on March 24, 2015 at AUB, in the presence of representatives and experts from MOE, UNDP and IPTEC.

Following the welcoming notes, the seminar started with a first presentation tackling the air quality management at the MOE and the contribution of the transportation sector to air pollution and climate change at the national level. A second presentation followed on the proposed technologies to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from the transport sector. Finally, a concluding session was held to address questions related to the topic.
