IPT Energy Advances Human Capital Excellence Through Unconscious Bias Training
As IPT Energy continues to grow its operations in the UAE, investing in its people means going beyond technical skills. It also means strengthening the awareness, behaviours and ways of working that help diverse teams perform at their best.
In September, IPT Energy brought employees together at its new Dubai Industrial City Hub for an Unconscious Bias Training session delivered in collaboration with The Knowledge Academy, a global professional training provider with an established presence in the UAE.
Led by Lina Chihabi, a communication and diversity management consultant and trainer with extensive experience across multicultural environments, the session explored how unconscious assumptions can influence everyday interactions, communication and decision-making.
Through discussion and practical reflection, employees were encouraged to recognise potential biases, consider different perspectives and become more conscious of how they engage, collaborate and make decisions with others.
For a business operating in the UAE’s diverse and multicultural environment, this awareness has practical value. More thoughtful communication, greater openness to different perspectives and stronger collaboration all contribute to better ways of working together.
The training forms part of IPT Energy’s broader commitment to Human Capital Excellence and sustainability. As the company expands, it continues to invest in a workplace where people feel respected, encouraged to contribute and equipped to grow alongside the business.
For IPT Energy, the expected impact extends beyond the training room: greater awareness in everyday interactions, more inclusive collaboration and a workplace culture that brings out the best in its people
